Join the choir this Christmas season! Choir rehearsal is on Thursdays at7:00 p.m.
Sunday, December 4: Christmas Around the World dinner at the ECS cafeteria at1:00, sponsored by the Area Council of Churches. Please bring a dish to pass and your own table service.
If you have announcements to put in the bulletin, please communicate with Lisa Berryment by Thursday of each week. Phone: 330-0325; e-mail: lberryment@stny.rr.com
From the Deacons & Deaconesses: The church will be having communion each month for one year. We will then discuss whether we want to continue it this way or go back to every other month.
The next Board of Christian Education meeting is scheduled for Sunday, November 27, following the worship service.
The December meeting of our American Baptist Women’s group will be at l0:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 6, at Dottie Blackman’s, with program by Bette McGregor. Our annual small gift exchange will be held, with an additional collection of a small wrapped gift (with the giver’s name tag attached) for anyone who would like to join in on this for our Fransego Association Scholarship Girl, Cassidy Lent.
American Baptist Women’s college scholarships are available to any girl or woman who is an active member of our church. Instructions and forms are available, and must be completed by March 1, 20l2 and received by our State Scholarship Chairwoman. This information will be posted.
OurChurch World Service Blanket Fund Driveproduced enough funds to pay for 74 blankets, to be distributed in needy areas inNew YorkState. About 40 Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes were wrapped, filled, and delivered to a pick-up point.
