Announcements
- Donations for ABW kits can be dropped in the designated box in the foyer. Also, don’t forget to pick up school supplies and start packing shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child!
- The Jingle Jangle offering this month (9/27) will go to World Missions.
- There will NOT be a service on Taylor Hill this Sunday as previously planned.
- FBC Bainbridge is hosting ABC missionaries Chuck & Ruth Fox this Wed. @ 6 p.m. See Pastor Jim for more details.
- Starting this week the adult Sunday school classes will be studying a 6-week course from the DVD series on the Holy Spirit, titled “When God’s Spirit Moves.”
- A training session for Child Safety will be held in the church during Sunday school on 9/27. This is mandatory for any adult who plans to work with children at the church. Contact Lisa Norton with any questions.
- Second Baptist Church will be running an after school program beginning, Monday, September 14. Laura Porter, the coordinator, will oversee the staff of adults and teens who will lead activities for about 30 children from preschool through 6th grade. The program will run daily from 2:30-4:30 with activities at the church on some days and at the school on others.
Second Baptist is a church which prepares people for ministry and enables them to serve in various ways and settings to build up the body of Christ.
