In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.
Daniel 7:13-14 (NIV)

Thanksgiving
by Bette McGregor
It’s eight o’clock – I thank the Lord –
He kept me through the night.
I pray His Spirit guides me,
So I may do what’s right.
It’s ten o’clock – I love Him so –
His love and mercy’s great.
It’s time to stop and praise Him
And on His presence wait.
It’s five o’clock – I praise His name –
He took me through the day.
In safety He has kept me,
Gave strength along the way.
It’s eight o’clock, I’m thankful
For every need He has met
I know that I’m protected
And by His love I’m kept.
It’s ten o’clock, the day has passed;
He’s been my faithful guide.
I sleep in peace and know at morn
He’ll still be by my side.
