Prayer of Thanksgiving: (from the Book of Common Prayer)
O Judge of the nations, we remember before you with grateful hearts the men and women of our country who in the day of decision ventured much for the liberties we now enjoy. Announcements
Sunday, June 9, is Children’s Day, Senior Recognition, and Father’s Day. This year an all-star cast will be performing the musical Spend A While on the Nile.
A final rehearsal for the musical will be held on Saturday, June, 8, for the entire cast.
The Baccalaureate Service will be held at our church June 16, at 7:00 p.m.
We will begin our summer church schedule on June 23 with worship service starting at 9:30 a.m. (Sunday school will resume in September).
A “Bucket List” clothesline has appeared in the sanctuary doorway to supplement the sign-up sheet for supplies needed for the Emergency Buckets. Please take as many cards as your generosity allows, but also sign-up on the sheet so we know who has taken them.
+Camper scholarship forms have been distributed today. Please return them by next Sunday or, at the latest, Sunday the 26th.
If you’d like your monetary contribution to go to benevolence funds, please use an envelope provided in the pews, or specify “missions” on the memo line of your check.
Food Pantry needs: hot dogs, frozen vegetables, and other frozen food items.
Thank you to all who contributed towards the purchase of a new computer to be used for our worship services. Our contribution goal has been met, and a new computer will be installed soon.
