Announcements

  • Evening Prayer Meeting: Wednesdays at 7 p.m. Focus is on prayers for healing, intercession, revival, and personal needs, and offering praises and thanksgivings to the Lord.
  • Summer Camp: Children and teens interested in attending Pathfinder Camp, Camp Vick or another Christian summer camp, contact Lisa Norton or Suzette Wengert. Discounted tuition due today! Scholarship opportunities are available.
  • Missions: Contributions are currently being accepted for the America for Christ offering. This program supports American Baptist mission and ministry across the United States and Puerto Rico.
  • Carenet: Our church donated $722.78 to Carnet in April! $274.78 was collected from the Jingle Jangle offering (that’s a lot of loose change!) and $373 via church donations. Also, 19 baby blankets were donated. Thank you all who made donations and have prayed for this mission!
  • Jingle Jangle: This month’s JJ offering will go to One Great Hour of Sharing a Christian effort to empower, provide water, supply food, and give relief from disasters.

 

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.  Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.  They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.  All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them
