A New Day

by Bette McGregor

Here it is a grand new day!

I have a fresh, new start,

My slate is clean awaiting

The day’s events to chart.

I hope I’ll use the hours

Of this day in a grateful way,

Trying to be reverent

In all I do and say.

Each day’s a great adventure,

A time to start anew,

To think about my motives,

If they be kind and true.

Then to show compassion

And help another’s need,

Being Christian in my journey,

In thought and word and deed.

Congratulations to our graduates today.
May God bless you on your journey!
