Announcements
- The Annual Meeting will be held on January 14 at 6:30 p.m. Please plan to attend!
- Next Sunday following the worship service we will be having a soup luncheon in the Fellowship Hall. Bring your favorite soup in a crockpot. Toasted cheese sandwiches, beverages, and dessert will be provided.
- A FREE CONCERT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC will be hosted by the South Edmeston Community Church on Sunday, January 17th, at 2:00 PM. There is nothing like the regal sounds of a brass ensemble playing beautiful hymns which give glory to the Majesty of God! “Revelation 4:8,” a newly formed brass ensemble, will be playing such hymns as “A Mighty Fortress is Our God, “Holy, Holy, Holy,” and other hymns. “Andrew the Harpist,” a classically trained tenor, will be singing Christian songs while playing a beautiful sounding antique pedal harp. There will be a time of congregational hymn singing and a very special but brief time of “Bible Hearing with Music,” where selections from the Bible will be sung and/or read while the harp is played. Last but not least, “Psalm 108:2,” a newly formed harp duo will also be playing Christian songs and hymns. There is a time to come away, to be in that place where you can get your mind off all that is troubling and on to the One who gives us each life! Come, and be with us! Although this is a free concert, a free-will offering may be taken up to bless the hosting church and those participating in the concert. Please Come! All are welcome!
“When Joseph and Mary had done everything required by the Law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee to their own town of Nazareth. And the child grew and became strong; he was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was on him.”
