Prayer List

  • Today’s speaker, Crystal Bollinger, is from Herkimer Care Net Center. We are grateful for her time with us today. Today is also our kick off for our Baby Bottle and Baby Blanket Drive which will continue through the end of February. Thanks to everyone who has contributed to Care Net with money donations, blankets, baby mittens, baby clothes and through prayer. This is a very much needed program that helps so many men, women and unborn babies in their time of need.
  • February’s Jingle Jangle offering will also be in support of Care Net.
  • Wednesday Evening Prayer Meeting is at 7 p.m. We’ll seek the face of God for healing, intercession, revival, personal needs, and lift up praises and thanksgivings to the Lord. Open for anybody. If the timing doesn’t work for you, please talk with Pastor Jim and we’ll see what can be done.
  • Baptism Classes are now on: Saturdays at 10 a.m. If you’re interested in baptism, or just in learning more about Baptists and Baptist distinctives, please come.
  • Constitution Revision Committee: a few more members are needed. If you’d like to join, please contact Darin Hickling at
    607-267-0703 or dbhickling@gmail.com
  • Danta Bolin and David Gregory will be hosting The Truth Project series at their home, 400 Wharton Creek Road, Edmeston, Sunday evenings starting February 21. The program will begin at 7:00, but everyone is invited to come at 6:00 for potluck supper. Danta says bring your leftovers from Sunday dinner if you wish (a tradition at our church in Germany) so half a pie, or part of a casserole is OK! Call Danta at 607-244-1069 with any questions. The Truth Project is a DVD-based small group curriculum comprised of 13 one-hour lessons taught by Dr. Del Tackett. This home study is the starting point for looking at life from a biblical perspective. Each lesson discusses in great detail the relevance and importance of living the Christian worldview in daily life. Visit The Truth Project online at thetruthproject.org
  • Join us next Sunday after the worship service for coffee hour time and sample a variety of quiches
