Board of Christian Ed. meets today following worship service
Haiti Missions meets Monday, April 15th at 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall.
Food Pantry needs: frozen vegetables, hot dogs, and other frozen food items.
Don’t forget about our Church Library – find lots of books and DVDs to entertain, inspire, teach, and nourish the soul!
We would like to purchase an upgraded computer for use in our worship services, because our old one is no longer up to some of the tasks required of it. We aim to spend about $600 on this, and are asking the congregation to contribute toward this need. If you decide to respond to this appeal, please designate your gift on an envelope or on your check.
Call to Prayer: Do you like to grow food or flowers in your garden? Do you farm part time or raise animals for pleasure or profit? If so, please join in with other believers at the front of the sanctuary next Sunday evening (6:00 p.m.) for a time of calling on the Lord of all the earth to bless His plants and animals and our efforts to cultivate them. Because man was given dominion over this earth in the beginning, we would like to reclaim a substantial portion of our authority through faith and prayer.
A Note from Pastor LaGuerre in Haiti
Greetings folks, in the precious name of our Lord
Hereby, I want to make clear for you all what I would love to see accomplished one by one.
1-I want and will start a church in Onaville (I do not need your financial help for it now because I do have big tents to start it in, Only your prayers I require)
2- I would love you to sponsor the schooling of my three children. This year I have been having some hard time to pay the schooling of the children. I still am in need to finish it. Every year I have to pay the school fees and the monthly fees.
3- I will start a school for the poor children in the church while we will be praying for God help us to build a school building.
4- I would love to you to help finishing the multipurpose building already started which will be use for # 1. a bible school for pastors because many are those who leads the church of God without any biblical formation at all. # 2. another part will be used for a guest house. The idea behind that is that I am trying to be self-sustaining and for the family and for the ministry.
5- I want to continue to travel in all Haiti preaching, helping the poor, providing them with what I can for the Lord’s sake.
6- Always have the truck alive because without the truck a good part of the ministry is down. (A great part of the ministry relies on the truck)
7- Help me to entertain some trips in the USA in order to give live report about the program( what has already done) sharing perspective for the future, encourage more people to gather together, for the cause of Haiti.
May the Lord add His blessings on what we are doing together in building His kingdom in Haiti!
Pastor Thomslay Budlaire LAGUERRE
If you are interested in supporting Pastor Laguerre in any of these pursuits, please see a Board of Missions team member.

Check Out the Church Library
The Church Library located in the Fellowship Hall has lots of inspirational books and DVDs. The newest ones include 90 Minutes in Heaven by Don Piper; Tuesdays with Morrie and The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom; and Time Piece and Christmas Box by Richard Paul Evans.
We have shelves of books for women, men, children, and family, about faith, healthy living, history, and more. There are poetry collections, novels, and Bible studies. Some are recent publications and some are “older than dirt” (located in the “Older Than Dirt” section).
It’s easy to borrow them: just sign on the sign-out sheet located by the library door and cross out your signature when you return it.
Church World Service Clean Up Kits
The ABW group is trying to put together 3 cleanup kits for Church World Service through the months of April, May & June. Below is a list of items we will need for EACH 5 gal. bucket. There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer and we would ask everyone to sign up for a specific item so we don’t have too many of the same things being brought. These buckets are used for any disaster that strikes and the warehouse was wiped out of all they had after Hurricane Sandy. We would also ask that you stick to the sizes specified or all will not fit in the bucket with the top on.
Thanks
